The court ruled to pay the former student moral compensation in the amount of 50,000 rubles.

The Moscow Zamoskvoretsky Court satisfied the claim of the former Novosibirsk schoolboy Vladimir Zhoglik, who demanded compensation for the illegal criminal prosecution.

In 2017, a criminal case was opened against Vladimir Zhoglik under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Illegal access to computer information." The reason for this was the statement of the director of the gymnasium №5, in which the young man studied. He was accused of hacking an electronic diary and correcting ratings.

A graduate could be given 2 years in prison. The public, officials and the children's rights ombudsman Anna Kuznetsova stood up to defend Zhoglik.

In 2019, the court acquitted the young man, finding no corpus delicti in his actions. The deputy prosecutor of the Sovetsky district officially apologized to Vladimir Zhoglik.

The guy decided to use the right of rehabilitation and filed a lawsuit with the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow, demanding moral compensation from the state, assessing the moral damage from each specific illegal action in the amount of 2.5 million rubles.

On September 23, the court ruled to pay Vladimir moral compensation - however, in the amount of 50 thousand rubles.
