Good morning everyone, this is Pavluu. Recently I came across an interesting article - "How to avoid malicious sites on the darknet". Such a big name and such shitty content. The article itself is foreign and from a good resource darkwebnews.com, although the advice there is from the series "install antivirus", "do not download archives" and so on. Funny. ALO! We're on the darknet, guys! Where are you?

This motivated me to write my personal guide to safe surfing (and not only) on the darknet. Of course, this guide will be copied 1000 times to other channels, but in fact, it makes no difference. You know who wrote it! And so, let's go!

The Darknet is a place where all flooders, spammers, scammers, crackers, carders, drive-ins and other dark personalities have gathered. Accordingly, being in the midst of such technologically savvy people, one should expect various surprises: from copies of well-known sites to forced downloads of malware.

How can I avoid this? Here are 8 simple practices from Pavluu that will help you keep your computer and your data safe, as well as not be thrown on the dark web.

1) Do not open letters from people you do not know, in particular, letters with attachments.

Short links, attachments, any suspicious suggestions or requests for any of your personal information. Even if the letter came to you in TorBox or elsewhere, it doesn't matter. We send it to spam. We delete the letter.

The same applies to drugs on forums.

2) Read the comments on the shady forums carefully

Think 10 times before following a link in the comments. Read what people write below, what's there? Is everything all right? Also, be aware of what resource you are on. Respected by all and proven forum? Well, then you can still afford such nonsense as following a link. And yet - better not.

Examples of such links:
  • Distribution of any freebies
  • Draining circuits
  • Pallas' cat, guides and more
  • Software
Pay attention to which section the comment is posted in. We went to the section "Useful software" and see how the dude gives links to the schemes? Do the moderators allow it? We go around the side.

Also, pay attention to the file hosting services that are in the links, if you still decide to go.

3) If you intend to buy something, make sure you are on the original forum.

It's not news that there are a bunch of fake sites on various platforms. Of course, we are talking mainly about the sale of surfactants. For example, for the same hydra, there are a lot of fakes and references to mirrors should be taken only in their telegram, for example.

Or remember RAMP 2.0. Have you registered there? Then, perhaps, you can not read further. Not only was there a scam, but also a script was found in the site code that collects all usernames and passwords. Are you still here?

4) Any transaction is carried out only through the guarantor

Have you decided to buy yourself something interesting? Are you afraid that you will be dumped? Look for a guarantor! It should be on the same forum where you are going to shop. Didn't find it? Then contact the top ones.

Where to look: wwh-club, dublikat, blackforum and other well-known shadow forums.

Any guarantor should at least have a reputation and a deposit on the appropriate forum.

Any store or service that refuses to work through a guarantor is 100% scammed. And yes, the guarantor, of course, at your expense. As a rule, 5-10% of the transaction amount.

5) Never use standard search engines to find onion sites

You drive into Google "hydra, buy ....?". In vain. Do not engage in such idiocy. Stumble upon fakes that will steal your data and all the money from your wallets on the site.

There are good aggregators of .onion sites in the clearnet:

1) https://thehiddenwiki.org/

2) https://darkach.com

3) godnotaba - I don't give a link, because it doesn't work now. You can try the .onion version if you want: http://godnotabatovgyqz.onion/

Just use them.

6) Use some kind of internet security

This applies more to the clearnet, but it still does not hurt to take note. Install some simple protection that will protect you from phishing sites and other scam that is already known and entered in the anti-virus database.

7) Avoid any suggestions about installing a "video player", "extension", "special software of our project" and other shit.

Among other things, Tor will not allow you to just put some kind of scam. And it won't download either. Well, if you really want to ..

8) Never provide your personal information

Most of the modern shadow forums do not ask for an email when registering. If asked, indicate either a fake mailbox, or register it in the Tor mail, for example, in TorBox.

Links to social networks on the darknet? You're out of your mind. Remove Tor as soon as possible, it's time for you to go to Facebook!

Also, read the article on how NOT to use Tor Brower. It's just a mustread for anyone surfing the darknet.

Hopefully these simple practices will help you not to be tricked or hacked. Good luck surfing! Remember where you go!
