We got a Samsung J5 "SM-J510H" which has a password protection in the form of a pin code, with the task to remove this password protection.
For this we will be using Cellebrite UFED Touch 2.

We also need complete cables and adapters:
  • A Adapter-USB
  • T-100
  • Phone Power-up Cable (required for stable power during operation)
  • T-133 (necessary if there are problems with transferring the smartphone to download mode)

LET'S START

To ensure a stable power supply, we connect the Phone Power-up Cable to the corresponding contacts on the phone and fix it with tape for reliability, the USB-A plug is connected to the Touch 2 technological connector for power supply.

We connect everything in the following order: smartphone - adapter T-100 - A Adapter-USB-Touch 2. ATTENTION it is necessary to connect the smartphone to the Touch 2 to the connector located on the left side.
After everything is connected, we return to the Touch 2 screen and select the continue item. The unlocking process has started, after which the smartphone should reboot.

After the notification appeared, as in the photo above and the smartphone has successfully rebooted, it still has password protection.
We wait a minute, after which we reboot it by holding down the power button and selecting the reboot item.
On Touch 2, select continue.
