If that card got only magnetic stripe - it can be cloned with no worries.

Correct, every magstripe data can be copied if u have the right equipment. Quite a lot of EU banks include a copy ptotection against cloning. Cloned card will work on Pos but not on ATM. Also companys use it for access cards, train and buPayPalets, etc.

The protection method is very simple, they just write a sign or alter the flux direction after the checksum behind the end sentinel, this makes all readers/writers with iso 7811 decoder chip useless, because they stop reading on end sentinel. To work arround this u need a raw data reader, with a bit of tecnical skills its easy to build a homemade one or u can find it here: h**p://www.makinterface.de Check section: MakStripe, there u also can learn everything about copy protections of magstripes.

BigBear has right, he reccomended this to me also and its really good encoder if you now how to use it!
