proxy, browser, vpn

I have everything ready I just need to get the proxy to work. The guide on the proxy website says socks5 isn't suitable for browsers and that using a VPN might prevent it from working.
When I connect to my proxy it is like I don't have any internet. I am using proxy switchyomega for my proxy and when I go to enter username : pass it says socks5 isn't compatible with my browser (chrome)

So my questions are:
1. How should I use my proxy/configure it
2. Should I use any other tools/browser

For successful carding you need:
1. Use a paid VPN that does not keep logs.
2. Install any Anti-Detect browser.
3. Buy a live card
4. Select a private resident proxy socks5 to match the cardholder (select by ZIP, ISP or cardholder’s city)
5. Set a proxy when creating a new session (new profile) in the anti-detect browser
6. Check the purity of the IP address for leaks, matches the cardholder and presence in fraud, black and spam databases.
7. Start carding
