Anyone who wants to become the master of his own life and in all his affairs to achieve success, first of all, it is necessary to master the art of positive thinking. It all starts with a thought. And the first thing to be done is to refuse to evaluate what is happening as "good" or "bad".

It is no coincidence that I put these two words in quotation marks. We are people, and it is not surprising that we perceive the world from a purely human point of view. But, as F. Nietzsche said, “man is something that needs to be overcome”. Artificially dividing the world into "black" and "white", into "bad" and "good", we not only gain nothing, but, on the contrary, doom ourselves to senseless, unnecessary suffering.

The art of positive thinking also implies the ability to wait. Without this skill, you are unlikely to be able to achieve any success. How often do we light up with a new idea, we strenuously begin to achieve this or that, but since nothing happens overnight, our ardor very soon fades away, we are disappointed in the chosen goal and gradually fall into the previous passive state.

Yes, it is very (!) Important not just to dream, but to do; it is very (!) important to use every day, every hour with maximum efficiency, but it is even more important to make your pursuit of excellence sustainable. You should become not a small smoldering wick, but not a flamethrower, sending streams of energy in short bursts, impulses. You must become a powerful burner keeping the flame at the same, definite level. ?

“Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today” is the right thought! But we should not try to do today what should be done tomorrow. ?

It is necessary to become a subtle strategist, who not only denotes landmarks for himself, but also carefully plans the paths and ways to achieve them. Remember that without a well-developed plan, without a specific goal, you can hardly count on any success.

What is empty in its essence will be amorphous and vague in its form. There is no need to strive for the deliberately unrealizable, unrealizable. Be realistic, but don't neglect the opportunity to fantasize. The best conditions for development are formed when opposites are harmoniously combined into a single whole.

Determining whether you really need what you are striving for is very simple. Look at people who have already achieved what you are just starting to get closer to. What are these people like, are they happy, do they regret what they have done? Imagine that you have already achieved what you want. What has become of you? In which direction to move on? ..

Many people fly all their lives, like butterflies, from flower to flower, looking for self-realization in insignificant things, ignoring something much more grandiose, really necessary. What's the use of wealth if you have to work hard around the clock, sacrificing everything else, and then make even more efforts to keep what you have acquired? Think about who after your death will get what you have worked for your whole life ...

In conclusion of this note, I will give an exercise, or rather even a method that will allow you to develop the necessary positive qualities in yourself and which will radically change your life for the better. For all its outward simplicity, this method allows you to achieve a lot. Much more than you now expect from him! .. ?

Try to mentally look at yourself and your whole life from the outside, as if you were looking at a stranger. Be extremely sincere and critical, note all the pros and cons. Try to also determine what “this person” is lacking in order to become a harmonious, strong, creative person. Take this assignment as seriously as possible.

Now take a pen, a blank sheet of paper and, in short, concise phrases, draw up a program for "this person" to follow. Now you are a programmer, and he is a machine that will unconditionally do whatever you order.

When writing your program, use only positive, present tense, first-person statements. Do not say: "he will no longer be nervous and offended over trifles." Say: "I am always restrained, benevolent, I do not hold old grievances in my soul and I gladly accept everything that happens to me." Try to keep your program at least seven and no more than ten items. You should end up with something like this:
1. I always remember about God; everything I do, I do for Him!
2. I avoid criticizing others and see only good in people!
3. I have the courage to look funny or stupid, all my complexes I can easily detect and neutralize!
4. My body, emotions, and mind are subject to My higher will!
5. I can concentrate on a given goal, always full of strength and purposeful!
6. I am always balanced and adequately perceive the world; the presence of the Force in me is constantly growing!
7. Failures serve me as additional support!

No need to copy my program, this is just a sample. Try to compile your list yourself, taking into account all the characteristics of your unique personality and the problems you face. Now that the list is ready, double-check it carefully, and then rewrite it cleanly in large, even handwriting. It is very good if you have a computer and a printer to make the printout.

Place the list where you see it as often as possible. For example, hang it on the wall above your desk, or on the mirror in front of which you shave in the morning.

Every day, immediately after you wake up and take a shower, as well as every evening, before going to bed, carefully reread what has been written. You can read about yourself or out loud, but always in a firm, confident voice. Know that in these moments your positive (!) Program is being put into your subconscious mind, displacing from it all the previous negative programs that were not compiled by you and for the most part. From now on, you yourself create your own destiny.

Every time during the day, as soon as you catch yourself doing or even thinking, something contrary to your attitudes, immediately stop and mentally (from memory) read the entire list once or twice. Read, and henceforth try to act only in accordance with your algorithm.

After two to three months have passed, remove your list from the wall (or from the mirror) and put it in a folder specially prepared for this, and then make a new list. Those provisions that you did not manage to fully implement can be rewritten anew. But be sure to add new positive attitudes.

Do this simple procedure regularly! Otherwise, the effect will be minimal. After a year and a half or two, open the folder with old programs and carefully analyze what you wrote and what you actually achieved.

Be glad for your successes. You have really accomplished a lot. But most importantly, feel the difference between what you were before and what you are now. Impressive, isn't it?!

The most important thing is to believe in yourself and your strength. Believe, even if no one else already (or still) believes in you. Do not abandon what you started and move firmly in the direction of your goal. Usually people simply have no idea what they are really capable of. Each of us can work miracles! ?

One more thing. Whatever you are now earning your living, know that over time you will be able to combine business with pleasure, making a hobby or passion - a profession! Isn't this your innermost dream? ?

In his book Swim With The Sharks, American businessman Harvey McKay expressed an incredibly simple, but very significant in content thought: "If you like something, then you can make it a profitable occupation, regardless of the field of your activity." The way it is!

? Gather the courage and shed your thirst for public approval

From childhood we receive different lessons, which hammer into our heads one idea: "It is dangerous to be yourself." We learn to exercise social caution and strive to get the approval of society for any act. However, this is not even childhood to blame, but the roots of human history.

Evolution has taken us not so far from the times when our ancestors hunted mammoths. Tribal affiliation was essential to survival. The tribe provided food and protection. Therefore, it was necessary to adapt to fellow tribesmen - so as not to be kicked out.

So people developed an over-obsession with what others thought of them. A sort of thirst for public approval and admiration - and at the same time a paralyzing fear of being misunderstood and not accepted.

It worked for thousands of years before and after our era. But civilization has changed, and biology is still running after it and cannot keep up. Our body and mind were created to live in a tribe, not in a world where social survival is no longer a concept. But we still try on four outfits before we go outside. What for?

The fear of public disapproval continues to play a huge role in our world. He does not allow you to feel comfortable alone on vacation, in a movie or a restaurant. Forces parents to think up for the child where he will go to study. It forces you to give up your favorite job in favor of a more profitable career.

Fears are often unfounded. "Everyone is talking about me, it's scary to think what they will say if I do it." In fact, no one cares about your actions. People are self-centered.

Begin to be yourself. Enjoy the feeling that you are considered strange, inappropriate and - oh my god! - unique.
