Penalty for instore carding around EU ?

I'm trying to find out what's the penalty for instore carding in EU countries.

So if anyone has experience or knows about the law in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, whatever, please share with us.

Example : first time offender in France gets caught in a shop, police comes, arrests him. What's going on from there ? Jail, trial ? How much jail time is he looking at if found guilty ? Can he be tried in freedom or under arrest ?

It would be interesting to have a situation for different countries, so everyone can have a picture of how the law works.

P.S. Everything shared in this thread is a guideline, only real & verified answers are given by lawyers .

swiss = cool law , low sentenses , nice jail
france= 6 month ---2 years bad jail
spain= 2 years --
italy= trial ----1year
germany=2 years bad jail

My advice : Nver have + 3-5 card with you and always get ID's ( sometimes cops too dumb dont think your card are fake )

Thanks guys, this thread is starting to get very interesting Maybe we should not restrict the topic for EU countries only and try to make it a worldwide list of punishments for instore carding, as a lot of members are based in Asia, Latin America, and so on...

Personally some of them , have been visited
friend visited in spain & germany

Thailand : +20-30k euros and Authority let you back at home ( then you cant back in Thailand )
So for people who go in Pucket etc ... to cashout card , etc .. EVERY time have 20k deposit at good friend/family to prevent your ass from there , coz Thai Jail was FUCKIN BAD ( remebered " Midnight Express movie " )
