I have considered getting a passport with these for a while but I am paranoid about showing my face for things like that. I'd say they are good enough. Search the news about a investigative team applying for passports with fake docs, most times the application went through. Of course if they actually try to verify the docs thats another story.

Also useful if you are an illegal immigrant, but I doubt most people here have that problem.
