Are u using a handheld skimmer to skim ?just a thot . If u skim them yourselves why dont u go for the pin as well . 
if u are working as a cashier u can just snoop while the customer is punching in those keys and make a note: May be u are already doing that and the ones that u don't have a pin for you are looking them to cashout elsewhere.
