Fraudulent call centers use legitimate software based on artificial intelligence to optimize the process of" serving " customers. The 404 Media portal claims that its advanced features include automatic detection of voice mail redirects and bots. As an example, journalists cite one of the call centers that uses the Voiso product.

The source provided the portal with a cache of conversation records, tables, and screenshots related to the fraudulent call center. Thanks to some of them, it becomes obvious that this particular group is posing as employees of the Bitfinex crypto exchange in at least several cases.

One of the tables contains logs of 80 thousand calls made in a year and a half. Among the subscribers contacted by scammers, there are residents of the UK, Sweden, Norway, Malta, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, Australia and other countries. At the same time, some of the conversations lasted up to half an hour, and criminals contacted one of the victims more than two dozen times in two weeks, and each time this person picked up the phone and entered into a dialogue. The highest priority targets for callers were people who had already become victims of fraudsters — they were offered help and the opportunity to allegedly return their funds.

After the publication of the material in 404 Media, it became known that Voiso blocked the account of a client suspected of fraud. However, nothing can prevent him from having dozens of others.
