hello, here I have a question: If I take a MSR 505 MSR or other low-cost, as long as it is a & 2tracks, its still works for embossed?
if so, what do you recommend?
Thanks you

I also have a MSR 605. Cost only 205 USD on ebay with shipping included, and it works great!

Some of them use older operating systems, like the msr 206 still uses XP while the msr 805 can be used on the newer versions such as vista etc and is a lot cheaper than the 206.

that's where i got mine too, and I carded it.

Carding a machine that is used for carding - the irony is almost too much.

http://www.exeba.com/ for the win.

Their software can be used with almost any encoder and supports most operating systems, even the latest Win7.

All versions of 206 and 606 included - ALMOST same.
No quality difference @ the finish (encoded stripes).
:)
