According to a study by Semafone, 60% of American and 52% of British companies fear credit card fraud.

84% of US and 87% of UK companies said they had increased their phone payments over the past two years. At the same time, 18% of respondents say the opposite.

However, despite the increase in payments via phones, companies are not quite ready to confront card fraud. Only 46% of respondents said they have implemented and maintain the PCI payment card data security standard, which reduces the risk of hacker attacks.

At the same time, 81% of companies admitted that their employees ask their customers to tell them aloud their payment card details.

83% of respondents believe that leakage of users' payment card data will lead to the loss of customers and a bad reputation for the company. At the same time, 68% of British and 51% of American companies have a crisis communication plan in case of theft of bank card data.
