Russian users will lose access to key products of the corporation.
Microsoft Corporation will restrict access to 50 of its cloud products for Russian users. This was reported by representatives of Softline, who received confirmation from Microsoft technical support. Softline clarified that due to the limited functionality of the services, Microsoft's blocking will extend "beyond these products", as well as to local software, license keys to which will be deactivated.
The restrictions will also apply to widely used products such as Excel, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive storage, the Azure cloud platform, along with a number of its components, including Azure Stack, Azure DevOps Server, Azure HPC, Azure Private 5G Core, and Azure Stack HCI. For the most part, there are enterprise apps listed in the block list:
Corporate access to the Visual Studio software development environment, Visual C++, and Visual Studio Code will also be restricted.
Earlier, Softline Group of Companies received information about a possible postponement of the suspension of access to Microsoft cloud services in Russia. The restrictions were expected to take effect on March 20, 2024. According to Andrey Prudazumov, Vice President of Softline, Microsoft representatives are considering moving the shutdown date to the end of this month.

- for developing InfoPath data entry forms;
- for developers and designers of Expression Studio;
- for developing InfoPath data entry forms, Office InfoPath Forms Server;
