A 24-year-old resident of Schleswig-Holstein, who allegedly collaborated with Killnet, has been arrested in Germany. It is accused by the authorities of the EU and the United States of attacking computer systems in countries allied with Ukraine.

The hacker, whose name has not been disclosed, is suspected of "supporting a criminal organization located outside Germany and computer sabotage." The police searched his apartment and confiscated data carriers.

According to investigators, the suspect himself offered his services to Killnet and advertised services in messengers through which Russian hackers carried out their attacks.

Andreas Röhrig, President of the Federal Criminal Office of Hesse, said that most of Killnet's accomplices are in Russia, which complicates operational activities. At the same time, he expressed satisfaction that, thanks to the intensive efforts of investigators, one of its members was identified and detained in Germany.
