The spyware, developed by the Israeli company NSO Group, can now extract user data from the servers of Apple, Google, Facebook, Amazon and Microsoft. This is stated in a report published by the Financial Times.

The NSO Group made a splash in May this year when the media reported on the "hacking" of WhatsApp and spying on iPhone and Android users.

Now, according to the Financial Times, the Pegasus technology developed by the company can extract user data from the servers of Apple, Google, Facebook, Amazon and Microsoft.

The NSO, in turn, has consistently denied allegations of espionage or hacking. However, the company has never denied the fact of the development of the technology, to which many experts have questions.

According to the Financial Times, the infected smartphone provides NSO software with authentication keys for Google Drive, Facebook Messenger and iCloud cloud services. At the same time, the development of NSO Pegasus manages to do this bypassing two-step authentication and email notification.

Amazon said that at the moment there is no evidence of successful attacks by Pegasus, but the corporation promised to investigate. Approximately the same was stated on Facebook.
