Is there a way to defeat iesnare and other device ID systems?

A friend of mine has run into some set backs in his business plan, since starting really strong. For some reason he felt like they (e-merchants) knew what he was doing and canceled in a time period much sooner than a normal review would allow. So he told me he started doing some research and discovered these device identifiers and device registers like iesnare and other networks. He discovered these companies upload software to review a multitude of factors about ones computer including hardware and software configurations and create and report a distinct ID when prompted by a request to open an account or submission of payment details to the merchant. He asked me do I know of any ways, methods or software that can spoof or defeat this. But me being the law abiding and honest person I am would have no need for such knowledge but for the sake of my friend does anybody know anything about this or can offer some help to him?
