Me - Hi, introduce yourself!
G - Hi, one of the STYX admins. I can introduce myself like this.
Me - Tell us about your project, and why this one? How did you come to this?
G - STYX is an Innovation marketplace. Our slogan describes the whole essence. There are no similar projects, which is why the idea of implementation was born. Regarding "How did you come to this?" - I can't speak only for myself. We have a fairly large team, dozens of different people work on our projects. So I believe the answer is in the cohesion of our team.
Me - How many people are on your team? What are your goals for the project this year? And what is the main goal of the project, the slogan of the project, so to speak?
G - About 40, if you count in all directions. The main goal for 2024 is to scale the project to the Latin American and African audience. We have already started to implement this goal with good results. The main goal of the project is to simplify international business between like-minded people from all over the world.
Ya - Why STYX? Is there a subtext in the name of the project?
G - Yes, Greek mythology. "STYX is a river associated with the transition from life to death, it represents a symbolic journey that many creatures in mythology must make. It is often understood as the border between the world of the living and the dead." Everyone can interpret this designation in their own way, we found it very suitable for our type of activity.
Ya - What products are most often sold/bought from your marketplace? Have you thought about selling products like paws, weapons, etc.?
G - At the moment, the most popular categories are: Full-info, Self-registration BA and Documents. The categories of psychoactive substances/weapons and the like are strictly prohibited, we only allow digital goods for sale. Psychoactive substances/Weapons, although they bring in tens of times more income, are too immoral things for our team.
Ya - How does your team feel about anonymity and security? What are your working conditions? Are you afraid of black minibuses?
G - We have never encountered any problems in terms of the law. Security is built in a decent manner, both for us and for the users of our resources. There are certain rules for employees, of course, there is no other way, and the higher the employee in the hierarchy, the longer the list of his responsibilities in terms of anonymity on the network. There is no fear of black buses, but we are always ready for such a development of events.
Ya - Have you ever had cases of an employee being caught? What do you have prepared for such a case?
G - There was no. In such situations, it is possible for the employee to contact us through a lawyer. We will help to settle the issue based on the circumstances.
Ya - What is the monthly turnover of your resource? What is the team's monthly check? And how is all this distributed?
G - If we take the market, now the average turnover is about $ 350k per month. Very divine numbers compared to drug markets)
The main team lives at our own expense, we do not earn on the market, there are no commissions, accordingly, there is nothing to distribute. Only coders and Telegram support receive a static salary.
Ya - What will your main income be based on? Advertising? Commission?
G - There is only 1 commission on the site - this is 4% when arbitration occurs in the auto-guarantor. These 4% go directly to our arbitrator. There are no more commissions and are not planned. All payments from advertising go to the salaries of the market's supporters. Our main income is built around the Private Section, thanks to our popularity we have a good staff of partners in all areas, we work with them personally. We buy various private manuals/trainings, post them in the channel and send them to partners to work. We receive % of all earnings, from all partners. We also collect payments for joining the team and monthly extensions.
Me - I wonder, how exactly do you earn, if it's not a secret? How much is invested in the project +-? Have other projects tried to put a spoke in your wheels?
G - Private topics, what we talk about in the channel, I can't describe the specifics, unfortunately. But you can look here (https://t.me/+YySkIxmCWpQwNGM6) examples. There are a lot in the project, it's impossible to count, since the whole project is 7 years old. If we talk about the market, then about $150k (this is taking into account the salaries of coders for 3 years).
They tried and are trying to insert sticks, DDOS is going on almost 24/7, asking for ransoms on a regular basis. They took down chats, channels, bots. Spammed and drained private. What they didn’t try, it seems that they have already passed everything)
Me - Are there any IRL projects? If so, which ones? What do you see as the potential in the near future?
G - There are projects in real life, I can’t give specifics. But I can give advice for the future. I see potential in AI and, of course, cryptocurrency. If you imagine the future in 5-10 years, then these are the 2 most relevant areas in which you can make a fortune even in the white.
Me - Do you know each other in IRL? What do you think about dating in IRL and working in the dark sphere?
G - Nobody knows each other. This is one of the rules in the team. I think negatively about this, these are incompatible things.
Me - Have they tried to deanonymize you? Scam you? Match you up? If yes, tell us how it was?
G - I suppose someone tried, but it didn't lead to anything, there was no such problem.
Me - Do you have a car? A house? Real estate? Do you have something to strive for? What is your favorite car? A BMW or a Mercedes?
G - I already have everything I wanted. One of my aspirations is the prosperity of the project we are working on, it inspires me. Ferrari SF90 is a good car. BMW/Mercedes - depending on my mood)
Me - Tell me, what was the turning point in your life? Why did you choose the Internet sphere to earn money? How did you start your journey?
G - The turning point, I suppose, was when you entered this sphere. Why did you choose? - There were no other options. Oddly enough, I started with 228, I worked as a manager in some shop. A month later it was closed. Then, on similar topics, I came across the niche where I am now.
Me - What is the hierarchy in your team? Are there the most important ones? Or is everyone in the same conditions?
G - There is a hierarchy, of course, but there are several people at each level, so the title of "chief" is not felt anywhere, everyone understands their responsibilities and works according to the technical specifications. Somewhere, a moderator can reprimand an admin for poor work)
Me - How do you classify it as competition? What are the top 3 projects, marketplaces in your market?
G - We have a great attitude towards healthy competition. Such marketplaces mainly specialize in one direction/product, for example - Genesis or 2easy, in my opinion, the 2 top ones according to logs, but unfortunately they folded under the FBI. All other markets are less unique and move in their own directions. But still, I would classify Styx in a separate category of marketplaces-forums, in which there is no competition on the market, for now)
Me - What 3 books would you recommend everyone to read? And why? Do you watch movies, TV series, anime? What would you recommend?
G - I can't answer personal questions. My advice is to read scientific and educational articles, for example, the manual for using Cobalt Strike. Believe me, no "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" will be more useful than such materials, thanks to which you will definitely not be left with a hole in the donut.
Me - Tell me about the best advice that brought you good results? What was it related to?
G - Well, it's generally trivial, don't waste time on fools and useless things. It eats up a lot of effective energy.
Me - Have you ever done something that contradicts your principles? For example, would you change the essence of the marketplace for a smoke break with your foundations?
G - Fortunately, there were no situations in which you had to make such a choice.
Me - Tell me how you spend your day? What does your ideal day look like?
G - I like my business and I enjoy it, so my ideal day is dedicated to work.
Me - What is your team's biggest catch, from courses, swearing, etc.? You buy up the material.
G - The biggest catch in this direction was during PUA / SBA. Since at that time we had a huge database of information and contacts for cashing out. That's when the private section started + many teams with their "offices" joined, a golden time for most)
Me - Who would you like to highlight out of all the people? And why? What acquaintances do you regret? What is true friendship for you?
G - There is no one to highlight. And there is nothing to regret, even the most negative people and traitors - this is a lesson in life. True friendship is the one from childhood.
Me - What do you think about today's youth (14 and up)? What advice would you give? What life experience would you like to share with our readers?
G - We were all like that) At this time, you need to highlight real values for yourself, not get hung up on parties and showing off among peers.
Me - How do you maintain your anonymity on the Internet? What do you do for this? Have they tried to deposit you, doxx, etc.? If so, how did it happen?
G - The most important thing is anonymity offline. Someone definitely tried, but I don't know how it happened, since there were no results.
Me - Have they scammed you? If so, for how much? How did it happen?
G - Yes, of course, more than once. In our work, this is inevitable, and sometimes it happened due to my negligence. From a few $ to $80k - that was the maximum damage, but you have to understand that this was the amount from a cashing service.
Me - What do you think about TalkTheScam? And will you show your crypto wallet?
G - TalkTheScam is a good place for advertising! The wallets will somehow surface in the FBI report, then we can take a look)
Me - What do you have to say in closing? Would you say hello? Who would you like to highlight? What is your strength?
G - I want to say hello to Soda and all his friends! Strength is in unity.
Me - thank you very much for your time!
This is the interview we got today, if you liked it, we are waiting for your feedback in the form of likes!
