Under the procedural leadership of the Sloboda District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkov, a 26-year-old man was suspected of fraud (Part 1, 2 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, during 2023, a Kharkov resident posted fake advertisements on websites regarding alleged employment abroad, namely in the countries of the European Union.
Law enforcement officers established that the main condition of the suspect was a subscription to receive a package of documents for booking a vacancy and insurance for further work.
The amounts were different: from 4,000 to 15,000 hryvnia. After receiving money on the bank card, the attacker disappeared. Law enforcement officials exposed the fraudster. The issue of choosing a preventive measure for him is being decided.
