A new set of PT START internships has been opened for aspiring IT professionals.
Positive Technologies has opened a new set of PT START internships for aspiring IT and cybersecurity professionals. Participants will receive lectures, workshops and intensive courses conducted by leading experts of the company. Students with the best results at the end of their studies will be able to complete a paid internship at Positive Technologies.
The project is open to students and graduates of higher education institutions specializing in "information security", "information technologies" and other technical areas. A big plus for applicants will be the experience of participating in CTF competitions, hackathons, and specialized Olympiads.
The internship will take place in three stages:
Training can be done online, and paid internships can be done remotely or at any Positive Technologies office in Russia. To participate, you need to fill out an application form and pass an online test before March 14. All details are available on the PT START website .
Development of the internship program in numbers.
During the two years of existence of the PT START Basic program, about 3,000 people were trained. With each stream, the project becomes more and more popular in the market and within the Positive Technologies team:

- PT START Basic — basic training in the format of video lectures and laboratory seminars. Participants will have 116 hours of practice, and at the end — the final test on the completed material.
- PT START Intensive-intensive courses in the main areas of internship: cybersecurity, development and quality assurance . Participants will learn how to work with the company's products.
- PT START Internshi p — paid internship in one of the departments of the teams that participate in the program.

Development of the internship program in numbers.
During the two years of existence of the PT START Basic program, about 3,000 people were trained. With each stream, the project becomes more and more popular in the market and within the Positive Technologies team:
- January 2022. The internship was conducted in the monitoring department, 600 applications were accepted, 22 participants got paid internships, 8 of them became our employees.
- July 2022. Other departments joined the program — PT Expert Security Center and Engineering Department. The company received 1,500 applications, 37 people completed paid internships, and 15 participants were invited to work.
- March 2023. The Business Consulting department, the Standoff team and the Cyber Analytics department joined the project. 2,800 applications were received, 47 people took part in a paid internship.
- September 2023. R&D, Hackers, and Application Security departments were added to the list of participating teams. Out of 2,200 applications, 1,200 students were selected for the first stage, 320 people were selected for the second stage, and 60 interns entered the paid internship (stage 3).
