A reward of $ 10 million has been awarded for information about attacks on US government agencies by the Clop ransomware program. The payout can be obtained for any information about attacks on the American CII in favor of foreign governments, carried out by both the CL0P group and any other hackers.

Thus, the US authorities reacted to the incident with the MOVEit service, which affected large companies around the world. According to the CL0P group, significant data was eventually stolen from all the victims of the attack.

Earlier, the perpetrators of the Clop ransomware attack told BleepingComputer that they immediately deleted any government-related data obtained by the IIA as a result of the attack. Therefore, the group does not have any information compromising the CII of the countries affected by the attack. However, it is impossible to verify this statement, so the US authorities assume that the stolen data can be used to harm.
