The investigator of the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moskovsky District of the city of Ryazan completed the investigation of a criminal case on charges of a 28-year-old resident of the Rostov Region of committing crimes under Part 1 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code (1 episode), Part 2 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (10 episodes) "Fraud".
The investigation established that in June 2023, a man at the address of his residence in the Rostov region created double pages of two employees of medical colleges located in the Ryazan region using a cell phone with access to the Internet on the social network Vkontakte. On these pages, the attacker posted an offer to take paid medical courses, not intending to fulfill obligations to provide training in medical specialties in order to steal money.
Realizing his criminal intent, the man in the period from June to September 2023, on behalf of employees of medical colleges, sent deliberately false information to residents of the Ryazan region about the provision of training in medical specialties.
As a result, 11 victims transferred funds in the total amount of 106,270 rubles to the bank account of the attacker, who disposed of them at his own discretion.
The illegal activities of the Rostov resident were stopped by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Ryazan region.
The investigation carried out a significant amount of investigative and procedural actions, collected a sufficient evidence base, in connection with which the criminal case was sent to court for consideration.
