In Odessa, a programmer was tried who bought two packages of cannabis, and was caught by law enforcement officers when he took the drug from a cache.
According to the case file, after the programmer. he took the "goods" in a cache on Tulskaya Street, 88, and put the drug in his pishenya, he was stopped by police officers who seized 20.2 grams of a prohibited substance. The programmer illegally kept them with him for personal use, without the purpose of selling them.
He sincerely repented and admitted his guilt. The court of first instance handed down a sentence to the man, according to which he received two years of restriction of freedom. However, the programmer filed an appeal to change the penalty.
The court granted the appeal and imposed a fine of UAH 17,000 on the man.
