In Moscow, an 18-year-old young man rented out other people's apartments under the guise of his own and received 10 thousand rubles for each tenant. This was reported on November 23 by the capital's prosecutor's office.
It is specified that the young man found a job as a "realtor" in one of the messengers. The organizer of the crime paid for his travel from Voronezh to Moscow, instructed him on conspiracy measures and sent a standard lease agreement, saying that he had to introduce himself as a relative of the owner of the apartments.
The criminal filled out a contract, met the tenants and, having informed them that the owner was on a business trip, received payment. In this way, he rented out apartments on Leningradskoe Shosse and on Tsendera Street.
“When the victim came to the apartment and was satisfied with everything, the fraudster took 110 thousand rubles from her and gave her a set of keys. Literally an hour later, he met a young couple who also paid for the rent by transferring money to him. And half an hour later, he rented out the apartment to the young man for the third time,” the department said in a statement published on its Telegram channel.
After finishing his work, the young man returned to his hometown, where he was detained. He was charged with fraud. He is currently in custody.
"The accused is being investigated for involvement in similar crimes," the prosecutor's office added.
Earlier, on June 20, the Khamovnichesky Court of Moscow sentenced Marina Demina, a member of a gang of black realtors. She received four years in a general regime penal colony for fraud. Together with her accomplices, the woman found an elite apartment, the owner of which had gone abroad, and sold it for 23 million rubles using a fake passport. Three of Demina's accomplices, who helped her draw up fake documents and sell someone else's apartment, are also under investigation pending a separate trial.
