Surely almost everyone is already aware that spending money from someone else's found bank card is equal to a criminal article. But do you know that the owner of the card is not its rightful owner? Young guys from the Rodinsky district of the Altai Territory fell for this bait. Read more about the incident in the material "KP"-Barnaul.

We earned some money ...

Two young people from Rodino received a message to the TG with an offer to sell their bank cards by handing over passwords and access codes to them. Around the same time, another resident of this village also decided to earn the same kind of "easy" money.

In both cases, young people sold their cards and passwords to them. It would seem, what's wrong with that? But the thing is that such transactions are prohibited and they are warned about this when opening an account.

"Young people were acquainted with the conditions for opening and maintaining a current account in the issuing bank and were aware of the inadmissibility of transferring personal data, electronic means, and passwords to third parties," the United Press Service of the Courts reported.

As a result, all three ended up in the dock. Under Part 1 of Article 187 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (sale of electronic means intended for the illegal acceptance, issuance of funds), they were given a suspended sentence of 6 months in prison.

"At the time of the actions, the boys were 16 years old, they were at school. The girl is 18 years old, she went to college. They did not earn so much. Guys for 1500 thousand, and a girl - 12 thousand rubles. The judge took into account their young age and the fact that they committed the crime for the first time, and then repented of what they had done," the district court said.
