The power is in dns because all Server got a zone A record which propergates to the domain and server of the cpanel.
When a cpanel goes down it means the domain have been blacklisted that is why it will always show red because the link is dead.
If something like this happens and you wanna use the cpanel then chill.
First is to get a domain.
Secondly Is to move zone editor and add the domain then update the name server IP or cpanel IP to propergate to the domain nameserver
Immediately the domain propergates with the cpanel then move to add-on domain in a cpanel and add the domain to create a public path.
You can add many domain and also spam with it via one cpanel
With this method a cpanel can be used as whm server.
Note: this is not working in all cpanel but make sure that your cpanel is unlimited to allow all zones.
