Very useful for those who cannot properly manage their time! We plan our time efficiently according to Eisenhower.

Time is a twofold concept. On the one hand, we have enough of it, and there is still a lot of it in stock. On the other hand, every second spent by us has passed, and has passed irrevocably. And the main question is how we spent it.

Analyzing what you want to do and what you are actually doing helps you gauge how effectively you are using your time.

Most time management systems focus specifically on the rational distribution of time, paying little attention to the actual tasks and goals. But not all. For example, the Eisenhower Matrix helps to formulate and identify tasks by ranking them in order of importance:

Square 1 - "Important and urgent" - these are urgent matters, when you need to quickly complete - unfinished urgent matters - "tails". Also, it can be cases, the immediate failure of which will lead us to unpleasant consequences; everything that concerns our health - or urgently needs to go to the store - buy food or cook in order to eat on time; deeds, the failure of which removes us from the previously set goal. These are crisis situations, everything that accumulated while we were in squares 3 and 4. In any case, this is stress for us and therefore it is not worth staying in this square for too long .. Ideally, this square should be empty.

It is best when we spend most of our time on matters related to square 2 - "Important, but not urgent": this is work on ourselves, planning (+ long-term planning), communicating with loved ones, visiting the gym, working on a new project. This is all that is useful and will bring tangible results in the future, and there is no need for haste.

This is a calm, focused work on tasks that are really important to you and we still have enough time to complete them. It is important to spend time on important tasks that are not urgent and only then take on urgent and unimportant matters.

Box 3 "Urgent but not important" - for example, an urgent, unscheduled meeting in advance or the same phone call that takes time. This also includes various concerns that are not related to the achievement of goals. Unimportant things that need to be done as quickly as possible. It is very important not to confuse urgent matters in square 3 with important matters in square 1.

Square 4 "Not urgent and not important" - "time absorbers" - some letters and empty telephone conversations, routine, things that are not interesting to do, computer games, social networks, watching TV. Abuse takes time and effort, and will not bring the desired return.

With this in mind, you can tackle time management improvements:

• Do it only once. We tend to clog our brains with tasks that have not been done, could have been done, or that we would like or need to do. Drop it. Either do it or forget it - otherwise it's a waste of time.

• Approach wisely. All your endeavors countless times someone began to do before you. Information has become more accessible than ever thanks to the Internet - why then go through trial and error? No need to reinvent the wheel, look for smarter ways.

• Automate. There are a huge number of computer programs that make our life much easier. But along with them, many automation programs, algorithms, schedulers and matrices have been created for our everyday life.

• Involve third parties. You shouldn't take the whole load on yourself. The one who said: "If you want everything to be done well, do it yourself", apparently, had an abyss of free time. There are people who can and want to help you, so why not use their help?

• Time Productivity: Productivity is self-evident from efficiency. The most important thing is to realize what you need. Once you know what you want to achieve, you can plan it quickly and easily.
