Disclaimer: Do not repeat at home. The article was created to teach you how to quickly recognize crypto scams, knowing how they work from the inside.

Douse someone who wants to do CryptoScam... and set it on fire... But seriously, I don’t really like “crypto traders and crypto investors.” Partly because I myself am a kind of “crypto-enthusiast”, but more about all sorts of technologies, about interesting things, and not about money out of thin air.

And yet, crypto projects, Metaverses, NFTs, and before that various kinds of ICOs, have multiplied, are multiplying, and will continue to multiply. I even had a period when I looked for different scam projects, looked at their documentation, and described in detail what was wrong and where. But they multiplied faster than I found them.

Why do you need to know how to create a cryptocurrency (scam)? To quickly determine from a new project that it is a scam! And don’t join it as if you were joining a party!

I'll try to retell how:
  • Why are you more likely to make money on a financial pyramid than on a crypto scam?
  • Why the price of a coin is a marketing ploy.
  • How to come up with a name for your crypto scam.
  • Why you shouldn't bother with the quality of WP and MK.
  • And other little things...
  • And why, even knowing all the mechanisms of how to make your own scam cryptocurrency, you most likely will not be able to scam people.
Will this guide have conclusions? Do you need them? Moreover, in order to create your own Scam Coin, you do not need to be a technical specialist. All you need is money.

What is the danger?

I would like to tell you about the rules of smart investing. About explaining that it is important to understand not only how the project will make money, but that it is important to look beyond the technology behind the project. For the fact that even a good idea can fail, for the utilitarian nature of the coin, for the emission methods, and a dozen other primary screening criteria... Well, to hell with it. I'll leave it for next time. On Habré, people are smart, and they know everything.

Therefore, briefly about the dangers of scam coins. His greatest danger. This is uncertainty dependent on marketing.

In general, in simple words, we know for sure that this is a scam. We know for sure that after the stage of entering a full listing, it will fall. But if the marketing pumping was very large (consider pouring a lot of money into advertising, making some kind of involvement with the elite, limited, and wisely swindling money), then for a short period after listing, the project can take off.

And this “could take off” is the most dangerous thing, which forces people, who clearly understand that this is a scam, to “look for X’s and run and buy everything that I see, everything that I hear.”

In reality, any scam coin is not even a pyramid. There's no profit there. And all money is created solely by the desire to buy/sell at a stated price.

This is what happens when a market is unregulated and dominated only by “technical” pricing factors rather than “fundamental” ones.

But the output is always the same. A coin goes on some listing, and everyone runs to sell it. It's falling in price. And he dies.

Unlike financial pyramids, there is no real chance to make money. And there is no window in which everything grows. Just a window where everything falls.

Capitalization, hamsters and why is it important?

One day an infinite number of mathematicians walk into a bar... The first one orders a glass of beer... The second one orders half of the first one. The third half from the second. The fourth is half of the third. Well, the bartender puts down two mugs and says, “Drink your beer, guys.”

Briefly about capitalization, coin value, and why it is important. Before we move on to the main thing - creating your own coin.

If you are in any crypto channels (no matter the quality), you often hear about this thing. Well, person X bought Y coins for a dollar, at a price of 0.00000000000001 per coin. Now the coin is worth 0.0000001, and the man has become a millionaire. We offer you an airdrop of coin Z, which is currently priced at (I*10^-1000). And earn millions from the further pump.

And at the same time, stories can be quite real. But they are doing a dangerous thing. They form correct conclusions from false statements.

Correct conclusion: in order to make money on cryptocurrency, you don’t have to buy an expensive coin, you can buy one that costs a billionth of a cent.

False statement: If we buy a currency at a price of a billionth of a cent, at a discount through an airdrop, we will definitely make our X's. After all, cryptocurrency doesn’t have to cost a dollar or millions later.

The catch is in capitalization. Cryptocurrency grows in price because money is frozen in it (capitalization increases), and whether it is all divided into 100 coins, 1000 coins, or 10^12 coins. It doesn't matter at all. Hence the joke about mathematicians.

Illustration of capitalization and number of coins

Illustration of capitalization and number of coins

Bitcoin is expensive only because it has few “whole” coins (let’s keep quiet about Satoshi and divisibility).

Ether's capitalization is only 2.5 times less. And it costs less, why? Yes, because there are 10 times more coins.

Why is Tether always worth a dollar? Because its price is controlled by emission (almost like a real dollar)…

It is important to understand this and not make false statements.

Yes, I know that this is all obvious without my simple explanations. But if you and I all know this. Explain then where all those who invest in scams come from? Therefore, I’d better repeat it, and I hope that after a simple explanation, someone will not fall into the “cheap coin - I’ll raise X’s” trap.

How much money should I prepare to make a scam?

The author from whom I borrowed the idea for the article reports that we need $5,001.
  • $1 to mint a coin. (if we do it on BEP-20, if on something else, then it can be cheaper)
  • $5,000 for marketing.

I would have given different figures, and I would have had more expense items. But it depends more on the market you want to enter. Therefore, I will leave expense items, but will not indicate specific figures. Partly because some things can be done independently.
  • Coinage. (depends on what we will mint on)
  • Website creation. From free (tilde), to buying a good domain, and creating something that will look not suspicious and cool.
  • Writing WP, MK and “legal” documentation. From “0” (went to Google, copied the nearest project, changed names) to “lots and lots of money.” They wanted it, got confused, hired a specialist, and came up with a legend. We came up with a technology and hired a copywriter. We paid money and got something of our own.
  • Advertising. No matter how much you invest, it won’t be enough.
What should advertising do? It should help you find greedy people who have a superficial understanding of cryptocurrency, and who have some money (usually scammers collect in multiples of $100, apparently to make it easier to count checks and conversions), and who will bring this money to you.

And if you are greedy, then you can generally pay for everything except the automatic rating boost with your created coin. Look how many closed telegrams we have with airdrops and presales. You’ve collected your database, added some coins, and enjoy cheap advertising.

In general, get ready for the money to be spent only on marketing. You can do the rest yourself, or for pennies.

Come up with a name for the project: This is important!

You disappoint SafeDogeMarketToTheMoonRoad with your naming.

Let's do it this way. If you and I were making a serious product, then you would do whatever you wanted. In such rubbish as scam, we need:
  1. Hit the associations.
  2. Strike on trust.
  3. Believe that your investors are stupid enough.
This means we can use one of two approaches.

We either take some association familiar to crypto enthusiasts - Moon, Doge, Safe, money, Market, Rich. We hang it with suffixes and prefixes, and we get a chic naming.

A clear example of naming.

A clear example of naming.

The second option is even simpler. We take a name that is known to everyone (which already has a limit of trust) and add suffixes to it. I'm too lazy to look for examples, so here you go.

Ten thousand units are ready.

Ten thousand units are ready.

Another million on the way

Another million on the way

I will not say that all these coins are a scam. I haven't checked. But I think you understand the principle.

Minting coins is cheaper than marketing

Moral dilemma: Should I tell you what tool and how a scam coin is minted? Or should I give you instructions with incorrect proportions so that you “read the mysterious island of J. Verne” and do not “blow up the whole world around you”?

I answered this question for myself. But how accurate are my instructions, and are there any inaccuracies in them... This is already a mystery.

Step 1: go to a well-known site.

A well-known site.

A well-known site.

Step 2: Click on create token. And select the blockchain on the basis of which you want to create a token.

Panel for creating a token on a famous website

Step 3: come up with options for your token.

Number of coins. Can it burn? Transaction fee? Retention reward. You can even create your own NFT if you wish...

settings of your token on a well-known site

Settings of your token on a well-known site

By the way, I haven’t moved on to the next step yet. Then I suddenly discovered, in the top panel of the well-known site, that even marketing can be solved using internal means. Everything for the lazy.

The best button on the entire well-known site.

The best button on the entire well-known site.

So, let's return to the instructions for minting coins. What do we need there? Oh yes, link your main wallet, depending on the blockchain you choose.

Voila! You have your own cryptocurrency! The price of gas and the cost of creation can be found there.

Okay, just a few more steps left.

Step 4: create a billion wallets

Why do we need so many wallets? We will send our coins to them. To hide that there is only one owner. And then, with the help of these coins, we can do what? Right! Pump and dump prices when a market forms.

By the way, this is probably where all the theories about dumps, pumps, whales, seagulls, hamsters, saber-toothed dolphins, and other magical creatures of a mysterious country called “blockchain” came from.

So, you have a coin (it is advisable to make it so that it is divided into hundred thousand five hundred million parts, because then we will say that it is very cheap, and it is very easy to make X's on it).

That's it, now we are at the top of IT. After all, we created our own cryptocurrency, and we don’t even know what encapsulation and polymorphism are ! Of course, they told me that the threshold in IT has dropped, but so much?

We have camouflage wallets. All that remains is to find an exchange for listing.

Step 5: find an exchange to list the coin.

Easy... Do you know any scams for sure? See what exchanges they are traded on and go there.

I haven't tried it myself, a friend told me

I haven't tried it myself, a friend told me

Come to this exchange. Go through the listing without an audit. Well, if you want to create “the appearance of active trading of your cryptocurrency on an exchange,” you can spend a couple of dollars and transfer money between your wallets within this exchange. At the same time, accelerate the price and increase liquidity. After all, you are still moving money between your own wallets. The only thing is that you will have to pay a commission from the exchange itself.

There is nothing to do on large exchanges. At the very least, to get there, you need to pass an audit. And for this you need to have brains. Time to waste. Spend money. Do we need it?

Legend!

Well, the coin has been created. We'll be promoting it soon. But before you start promoting you need to:
  1. Come up with a legend.
  2. Make WP.
  3. Make MK.
  4. Draw a RoadMap (well, where would we be without it)
  5. Come up with a team.
  6. Develop a beautiful offer.
And also come up with marketing hooks, develop a content marketing strategy... and a bunch of other things... Or... you can... give up on everything... And it’s stupid to steal information from your nearest competitor.

The main secret: when you copy documents, design, WP and MK. Don't forget about the magic keyboard shortcut CTRL+F, and clean up the names and references to the original. Otherwise, it will be awkward and then have to make excuses to all your investors.

All jokes aside, a good marketer who, for example, worked at the peak of the ICO boom, will be able to write you WP and MK, which you can’t find fault with. BUT!..

... I'm afraid such a marketer will cost more than launching 3-4 inferior crypto projects.

Therefore, we take a competitor (if he is not yet a scammer, then he is generally ideal) and copy everything we need. We violate all copyrights that we can... And... Done! There's some change left.

We create a website

I will not promote any specific courses or articles to you. I'll just give you a tip.

Read articles on the Internet about landing pages and how they work. Look at examples of good pages (there are generally 2023 designs, some things have changed, so try to look for the latest guides).

And based on that information (about triggers, block placement, landing page logic, lead magnets, etc.) develop your website.

Why is it important? Because a good landing page will give you a head start in time before your project falls. Plus, all this marketing research needs to be done only once, and then produced for all subsequent crypto scam projects.

“And then we wonder why there is no trust in landing pages, and why marketers are already tired of changing trends and coming up with new ways to add trust to a landing page.”

In general, we take all this information, go to Tilda, WP, or if we had money to create a token, go to the designer and order all this from him. Well, or if you are a designer yourself, you can create it yourself.

BUY a watermelon! Juicy, cheap, with an NFT tag. The most unique. I guarantee it!

The most important thing in your business. This is advertising and its payback. It is clear that the fattest market is the Western one. Europe, States. Of course, you can also work in the CIS, depending on your convenience.

All in all. Let's remember our legend. We take it in our hands and go through Telegrams, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok. And we’re trying to push it to influencers everywhere. Moreover, the ideal option would be if you can pay for it with your coins (supposedly, our project is so promising, our coins will cost millions, here’s 3 coins for you, you will be the richest).

Well, you also need to improve your social skills. Create your own Instagram, boost it. Twitter. Facebook, Telegram maybe. This is the part of the expenses where you will have to pay money.

Why? Because bots, although cheap, will be quite difficult to pay for bots with scam coins.

The main rule in advertising: Segment markets. Yes, the most money is in the States. But for example, if we take and push all our advertising to some Netherlands (so that all local YouTubers, TikTokers, Instagram influencers) talk about your project, then when it blows away, you can always then force advertising of a new project to Belgium ! And then to Germany.

The exhaust is smaller than attacking something big. But you will also spend less money. And you will have more attempts.

And then, when you become a marketing monster, run a dozen crypto scams, you will have enough money to attack the USA with your advertising and hit the jackpot. Well, or fly into the red.

In general, the only expense item is advertising.

Reputation management: Creating an account that people trust

Reddit man looks at you like you're a scammer. Don't disappoint him!

We talked a lot about buying bloggers for your “shitcoins”, but... A hamster needs a reputation. You can’t paint a reputation as a blogger.

But it can be drawn on large areas:
- Reddit
- Linkedin.
- Telegram.
- Discord.

The Western audience of crypto enthusiasts loves Reddit. And they are not shy about outright scams, pumps, or dumps here either.

A striking example is r/Cryptomoonshots : 1.9 million subscribers. Created by crypto traders, for crypto traders, for crypto trading. Just kidding, for the sake of crypto pumping.

There, the subreddit has a story about how they liked how r/wallstreetbets consolidated and pumped up the shares of the game disc rental company GameStop by 28,500%.

In order not to load - everything is simple. Smart people saw that they could pump a low-liquidity asset on a regulated market... and it would fly up. What if you do this in an unregulated market?

Actually, that’s how CryptoMoonShots was born , and he’s not the only one. We have about 50 more large subreddits, for example: CryptoCurrencyTrading, SatoshiStreetBets, Shitcoinmoonshots, Cryptostreetbets, with a total number of subscribers exceeding 15 million.

r/CryptoMoonShots

r/CryptoMoonShots

Yes, yes, we all already understand that Reddit is great for any task. And especially for promoting any scam.

But it’s not enough to know where... You need to know how!

If you just register and start posting “how cool you are and what a cool crypto you have,” then the result will be. After all, zero is also a number, and “no” is also a result!

To scam effectively. Need an account with:
- from 1 year of age.
- fasting with karma from 2000.
- a comment with karma 100.
- and preferably with a CryptoMoonShots (CMS) marker, to be sure that he can post on CryptoMoonShots and has not yet been banned there.

reddit accounts

reddit accounts

For what? To get your post out of the sandbox and into the main subreddits.

How much will it cost? At $50 per account. And also remember that you need a couple of reserve accounts for experiments.

And also different posts.
And also filters.
And also bans.
And also the crookedness of the scammer.
And also shorten the links.
And also stick to Reddit itself.
And also respond to comments.
And don’t forget why you are here.

And also... And also... And also

And also... I completely forgot. It’s not enough to create a post. It would be better to promote it. Everything here is like on your favorite hub. Caught Plus, moved up in the hierarchy - received Yellow Pants. If you received a minus, you lost your Yellow Pants. Everything is familiar, but there is a “nuance”!

Reddit is a larger platform, and so that all sorts of “smart guys” and “scammers” don’t spin things up and raise old topics, then every hour the weight of the voice decreases by 2. So what? You need to turn it right away, quickly and within the first hour.

Of course, I don’t need it myself, a friend asks me... in short, do you want to spin a scam, or just raise your self-esteem after you have been bombarded with feces by minuses, then write to Google buy reddit upvotes and select any popular service for boosting votes (upvotes ) on Reddit (preferably for crypto subreddits), for example reddit-marketing.pro and get 300-500 upvotes, depending on the competition. We managed to get votes in the first hour and made it to the top 1.

So, for $35-$70 we get to the top 1 of the subreddit with 1,900,000 subscribers. If you get a lot of eyes, someone will convert.

It also offers options for comprehensive promotion on Reddit and Linkedin, covering an audience of 15.4 million users per day.

What conclusions can be drawn?

When I discovered for myself “how simple everything is,” and that everything can be done literally on one site... I understood... Yes, I didn’t understand anything, it only dawned on me why all the scammers are so inventive . And why they are created faster than I can find them.

Real conclusions of this article

Real conclusions of this article.

My task was to show the inside out. And maybe this will save some newbie from a simple scammer. After all, if a professional targets you, this reverse side will not help you...

Why? Yes, because the article describes a basic scheme, not covered by anything, which is easy to calculate by eye. Experienced scammers act more cunningly and skillfully, and can lead circles of people for years...

Are all crypto projects a scam? No. Some have technology behind them. Some use utility tokens, and all the advantages that decentralization and blockchain allow. But for the most part, everything you see, everything that is actively advertised, and everything that they offer to make money on, is most likely a scam...

It turned out to be some kind of banal and snotty conclusion, let's try again! Now you can earn your millions, you just need to step over your conscience and take your first step - create your own cryptocurrency (scam coin)!

Become a successful scammer and your life will get better!
