Many people are afraid of public speaking or just meeting new people, while feeling a rapid heartbeat, tremors in the whole body.

Research suggests that shyness is not an innate quality.

There are ways to overcome it.

1. Think about what and why you are shy.
Try to understand your shyness and how it manifests itself in your life. Observe what factors are causing this feeling. Knowing the reasons for shyness will make it much easier to get rid of it.

2. Correctly perceive yourself and the situation.
Use your subconscious mind. It all starts in the head, and then it becomes reality. Don't think that the whole world is looking at you. Everyone is too busy to pay much attention to your actions, admit it.

3. Know that in some ways you are better than others.
Look for your strengths. Surely there are things that you do better than others. Love yourself for your merits, and do not worry about failure. There are no perfect people!

4. Work on the bugs.
Make a list of situations that made or makes you feel uncomfortable. Start working on bugs using this list. From the simplest to the most difficult. But remember, you cannot achieve everything at once, so do not grab onto everything at the same time. Gradually, every day, work on yourself a little. Even the smallest victory will give you confidence and desire to move on.

5. Don't compare yourself to others.
Never compare yourself to others. Everyone is trying to hide their bad qualities, and flaunt their achievements. You are a completely different, unique person! Let them perceive you for who you are!

6. Make new acquaintances.
Look for new friends. Go to courses, there are a lot of interesting people going there. This will allow you to look at the world with different eyes, learn something new, and raise your self-esteem.

7. Be proud of yourself.
Create a notebook in which you will write down all your achievements. Read over and over again about your victories. Begin to be proud of yourself.
