Sometimes, before filling out the billing, you will need to enter the payment card details, and when entering the address, take into account that the “state” field cannot be manually specified - you need to select the “AA” field from the drop-down list, and instead of the index enter “99999”, “77777”, or “11111” ... This directly applies to stores that do not send parcels directly to the CIS countries. For example, Zappos or 6PM. In this case, the billing address will look like this.
Some stores, alas, do not officially accept cards issued in the CIS countries at all. For example, Walmart.
But this limitation can also be circumvented by specifying residence / registration data in the address 1 and address 2 fields (address 1 - Petrova str. 222, apt 22, address 2 - Russia, Moscow region, Moscow), and as the index and state - details by which the forwarder is registered.
This also works for purchases at Levi's.
In some cases, the store may modify the entered data. For example, the word "crossing" for the word "xing". This is what Nordstrom and Amazon do. But since these spellings are abbreviations, there is no problem. The same applies to postal codes, which in the United States have the form of ZIP + 4 (extended indexing, which has been used since 1983). Therefore, if when entering "12345" the system suggests adding 4 more digits, and the code looks like "12345 + 1111", feel free to agree.
In some stores, the specified address received from the forwarder may not be accepted at all, or it may be accepted, but with a warning like:
“He address below does not match the US Postal Service standardized listing. Please verify & update the address you have entered. If you are unable to update the address, there may be delays in shipping".
This happens in the Victoria's Secret store. The problem can be solved by pressing the continue button again.
It also happens that the store does not accept certain details. For example, a telephone number of the format 111-111-1111. You can get out of the situation by entering an abbreviated version (without an index, for example), or an alternative phone number. Including a forwarding company.
In general, if you choose a reliable partner such as Shopfans, the risk of a shipping address not being accepted is minimal. Likewise, there will be no problems with filling in the billing.
For example, the 6PM store, which previously processed far from all addresses, now easily accepts Shopfans billing. Plus, the availability of your own delivery methods excludes the loss of parcels, and you will receive your purchases quickly, at reasonable rates, and without any problems.

Shipping & Billing Adress - what is it and what is it for?
US online stores operate with two types of addresses - Shipping and Billing.- The Shipping Address is your US address obtained from the forwarding company. When filling out the delivery address when purchasing, you need to specify exactly shipping. Parcels will arrive at this address, which will then be sent to the address you specified.
- Billing Address is the billing address. In other words, this is the data of the bank card holder with which the purchase will be paid. So it is important not to confuse, and when filling out the "billing" indicate your address and phone number, which are "tied" to the card.
