End-to-end encryption technologies prevent anyone intercepting your messages from gaining access to their content. However, they will not be able to protect you from hacking your device or your interlocutor's gadget.
To enable Deleted Messages on Whatsapp:
1. Go to the chat where you want to activate disappearing messages and go to the chat options.
2. Click on "Disappearing messages".
3. Select the "Enable" option.
Unfortunately, you cannot configure a specific deletion time. All messages sent to the chat will be deleted automatically after exactly one week.
It is important to note that the function does not protect you from screenshots, does not delete files stored on the device, and does not block the ability to restore messages from a backup.
