It may seem that spying on users via e-mail is possible only for well-versed special services or large corporations like Yandex and Google.

In fact, anyone who uses the GetNotify service (https://www.getnotify.com/) can determine your location, IP address and computer characteristics. It embeds an invisible tracker picture into an outgoing letter, which, after viewing, will transmit all the information to the sender.

To protect yourself from e-mail tracking, use PixelBlock (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/pixelblock/jmpmfcjnflbcoidlgapblgpgbilinlem), or disable media downloads altogether by default.

You can send a tracking letter for verification. To do this, you need to register on the website (https://www.getnotify.com/signup/). Then, send the message through any email service by adding ".getnotify.com" at the end of the recipient's address. It should look something like this: [email protected]. When the recipient opens the letter, information should appear on the site.
