They say carding is not for everyone. In order to engage in carding, you need perseverance, independence and the desire to move on, despite all doubts. Here are seven signs that indicate you have the mentality of a carder.

You became interested in carding as a child
In the biographies of many successful entrepreneurs you can find stories about how they worked part-time as children. For example, the founder of the Ellison eyewear brand, Aristotle Loomis, began earning money at the age of seven - he ran household errands for his friends three times a week and charged $7 for each visit. Soon people around him started talking about his services, and Aristotle had so many clients that he could earn $500 a week.

You know how to spot trends
Carders constantly monitor how their surroundings change and try to meet the emerging demand. In 2011, Julia Schroeder, founder of Unconventional Life, a community of young entrepreneurs, noticed that some girls began decorating their hair with feathers. She decided to buy several thousand dollars worth of feathers and then resell them online. A few days later, it turned out that Julia’s intuition did not let her down - soon all the local stores ran out of feathers, and she had a whole business in her hands.

You think big
People with a “rational” or “practical” mindset try to avoid risks and operate on a more manageable scale. Carders, on the other hand, think more broadly.

Adam Rivietz, owner of media relations company #Paid, tested his business model on exactly one blogger before expanding his business to tens of thousands of clients. His first client was a former classmate who gained 75 thousand followers on Instagram within a year. “We contacted her and offered to become her agents,” Rivietz said. “When she paid us, we realized that the idea was proven and we could look for more bloggers. We contacted 700 bloggers whose Instagram profiles included their email. In just one week, 500 people responded to our offer.”

There are people around you who inspire you
As author Tim Ferriss said, “You are the average of the five people you connect with most.” Successful carders know that being surrounded by negative people can throw you off course. They surround themselves with those who motivate and support them, and therefore achieve their goals faster.

You know how to use relationships
If your product was recommended to a client by a friend, the chances that he will buy it are four times higher than usual. Successful carders live by this principle and use the power of networking to card.

You act quickly
You wouldn't believe how many people wait too long to start working on what they love. Carders are much quicker to say: “Yes, we are ready to cooperate.” But this does not mean that he is arrogant - they simply understand what an unnecessarily long wait could cost them.

You are a visionary
Carders are true experts at coming up with better solutions to something. Where others see limitations, they see opportunities.

According to entrepreneur Zach Benson, being a visionary means being confident that you can make your dream a reality. “It’s quite possible,” he said. — I work with hundreds of bloggers on Instagram. These people really live the kind of life you see on their blogs, even though it seems unreal. I myself have always dreamed of living like this... and now I have succeeded.”
