Oh this America .. the main supplier of "happiness" to the whole world. Many people think that cartels are engaged in the production of goods "inside and out", not at all.
Raw materials
The drugs originate from the poor countries of Latin America: Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru and others. Farmers grow organics, working for a couple of bucks a day, which is a better alternative for them than growing bananas or corn. Why is the rate so small? On the drug market, there is a complete monopsony (one buyer), therefore, farmers are completely subject to the cartel. After the plant is grown, it is sent to local laboratories for further processing. Laboratories are often located in forests or directly in cars.
Laboratory
Oh, the place where young chemists go to gnaw the granite of science, along the way smoking grass with monkeys in the jungle. There is a lot going on in laboratories, from the simple pressing and conversion of cannabis into hashish, to the creation of pure cocaine. The whole process is monitored by security guards, which, in turn, will help give food to chemists and goods in case of anything. Usually a laboratory does not live for more than a month (unless it is of course mobile), the chance of detection is too great. Therefore, new and new ones are constantly created, and the old ones are destroyed by the police.
Export
A little goes to the local market, but further is more difficult. Cartels export consignments in a variety of ways, from air travel to introducing the commodity into sharks.
