Before you start reading this article, we want to note that it considers psychotypes separately from people. Those. the material was written based on the assumption: 1 person = 1 psychotype. In reality, this is not the case, and a person may have 2-3 psychotypes, just one of them will be pronounced. Consider this.

HOW DOES EMOTIVE LIE?

A brief description of.

Emotives are quite sensitive to the emotions of other people, they often worry about trifles. The main thing for them is the relationship. One of the features is accepting the position of another person, caring for others. Modest and shy.

How do they lie?

Emotives can't lie. When they have to lie, they feel guilty and ashamed. They betray themselves through pronounced manifestations of the autonomic nervous system: breathing, blinking and heartbeat. Their deception is betrayed by denials or neutralization in statements.

Due to the fact that they are ashamed of the lie, they are not able to resist for a long time and strongly. But at the same time, it is possible to get recognition from them only with the manifestation of moral motivation, since they know that they are protecting loved ones or high ideals. Logical arguments or reliance on material values do not work for people of the emotive type.

HOW DO HYPERTIME LIE?

A brief description of.

They strive for communication, they love the change of events. They are cheerful and welcoming. They have an optimistic outlook on life. Diversified. Lack of fear. And such people need to be constantly motivated.

How do they lie?

If hypertim deceives him, an important feature appears: he begins to gesticulate with his hands even more actively than usual.

As soon as there is an opportunity to "speak his teeth" to the interlocutor, he immediately rolls into chattering.

When asking him test questions, the hypertim will show signs of lying. But only for a very short time, and he will again slide into chattering. Therefore, one must be careful in communicating with him.

Psychological protection, expressed in a return to childhood patterns of behavior, is a sign that arousal is accumulating and hyperthymic, at this moment, due to its rapid switching, can tell you everything.

When hypertim realizes that he has given himself away and he “cannot get out”, he readily goes into cooperation with the words: “You must help me”. At the same time, he may ask how the lie detector is arranged, take a picture of himself in the polygraph sensors and send the photo to friends, or he may ask to tell how the study is going. All this happens because he loves to communicate, and cannot be in a state of depression for a long time (which accumulates during the test), and in order to discharge himself, he urgently needs to switch.

HOW DOES THE SCHIZOID LIE?

A brief description of.

They have a weak nervous system. The schizoid psychotype is the only psychotype whose features are more associated with the type of thinking, and not with the type of the nervous system. Schizoids are unpredictable. They think outside the box. Their basic state is cognition. Introverts. They do not like to show emotions. At the same time, they can be sociable with loved ones.

How do they lie?

This psychotype is difficult enough to detect a lie. It is quite difficult to work with him, because the schizoid's lies are as paradoxical as his behavior. He will not answer your questions, but his own questions.

Due to his isolation, the schizoid is able to resist interrogation for a long time. He has a great tool for this: to go inward. It can be quite difficult for the verifier to pull him out of this state: during a conversation, the schizoid seems to be split into molecules.

You can control this person only by building in him a state of anxiety. But it is anxiety, not fear. For example, it can be said that in his future there may be serious that he creates for himself now by refusing to engage in dialogue. Perhaps, in this case, he will collect his thoughts and begin to adequately interact.

HOW DOES PARANOYAL LIE?

A brief description of.

This psychotype is based on a strong nervous system. Such people are quite calm and self-sufficient, they have their own opinion on everything. They are usually cautious, active and calculating the consequences of their actions. Their nervous system allows them to perform large-scale actions and realize grandiose plans that require strength and energy.

How do they lie?

If we talk about the strategy of lying, then it is important to understand the following: the paranoid does not lie, he creates a new reality. For the paranoid, lies are a political instrument. Everything that once seemed fiction, after a while, with his efforts, becomes the truth, into which he will fall. Signs of a paranoid lie are hard to notice. Because the behavior of the paranoid will rely on a defense mechanism - projection.

Projection is a psychological process, as a result of which the inner is mistakenly perceived as coming from the outside, ie a person attributes his own thoughts, feelings, motives, character traits to someone else. For this reason, he considers his own unacceptable ideas as strangers, and, therefore, does not feel responsible for them.

The paranoid can demonstrate cooperation for the sake of his own well-being, as he calculates various options for the outcome of the conversation and realizes the consequences. However, he will not really help the search for the truth, and will limit himself only to talking.

Another strategy for paranoid people is to drag out the conversation or get involved in negotiations in order to find out the position of the interlocutor. They are smart, keep track of information clearly, and see several steps ahead.

The signs of lying in a paranoid are few and difficult to notice.

HOW DOES EPILEPTOID LIE?

A brief description of.

The desire to control everything around. Epileptoids are serious and consistent. As a rule, with high intelligence. Can be explosive in some circumstances. At the same time, not the ability to solve complex mental problems, think creatively, show emotions, give out sophisticated speech turns - everything that is necessary for a sophisticated lie!

When a person of the epileptoid type speaks the truth, then he quite clearly associates himself with the event. Often, he sincerely condemns the person who has committed illegal acts.

How do they lie?

An epileptoid in a situation of checking for a lie, in the event of its involvement in hidden information, will act according to the same scenario: since in a state of stress, it is not capable of inventing something.

The basic behavior in this case is neutralization: he tries to speak little, to completely control his thoughts and body movements.

The next scenario of behavior is denial: "This is not me", "I could not do it." Or demonstration of your model of the world: "I don't know why you are asking me this." A person of the epileptoid type will attribute his actions to other people (the principle of substitution): “This is not me, but someone else,” and at the same time, as a rule, due to the lack of self-criticism, he will practically not experience feelings of guilt or shame ...

If from the point of view of an epileptoid, the verifier is a weakling, then he can behave aggressively (sometimes in a passive form). Can leave abruptly.

HOW DOES ISTEROID LIE?

A brief description of.

They strive to be first and visible. The main desire of this psychotype is to attract attention at any cost. It doesn't matter by what means, by what behavior and by what appearance, the main thing is to be different from everyone else. One of the main features of the hysteroid is joy, sensory pleasure.

The defense mechanism of the hysteroid is denial. It helps the hysteroid to notice only good things, to ignore reality.

How do they lie?

Since the main mechanism of psychological defense in hysterics is denial, which can turn into hysteria, the scenario of behavior during a conversation can be something like this:

At first, he may declare that he is not feeling well and cannot continue the conversation on this topic.

Then he will try to transfer the conversation to a different context, to a different time, to say that he is not ready now.

If this does not succeed, then he will try to chat up you and will try to talk about anything: about the weather, about nature, tell some kind of life situation in order to evoke pity.

And if this does not help, then there is the likelihood of a transition to hysterics, and can reach tears, moreover, both in men and women. All this is done so that the verifier accepts his point of view and does not harm him.

It must be remembered that such behavior is associated with infantilism and childish strategies, this is how the denial mechanism works, and that one does not need to succumb to such feigned tricks.

Moreover, the hysteroid believes in what he says. And if during the conversation you do not immediately catch the lie, then after a while the memory, consciousness and unconsciousness of the hysteroid will begin to deny information about this event, about what he was doing. And in the future, in order to get to the truth, efforts will be needed.

HOW DOES AN ANXIOUS PSYCHOTYPE LIE?

A brief description of.

People of this type very rarely behave antisocial, and from the point of view of studying lie detection we attribute them to a non-criminal type, they very rarely commit any crimes.

How they lie

As part of the lie-detection work, an interesting detail was discovered in the study of these people.

At one time, Cleve Baxter, one of the founders of the American school of lie detection, came to the conclusion that asthenics are a hindrance for verifiers. The fact is that during testing, they behave like “guilty”: they give out pronounced reactions of involvement to various stimuli of the lie detector. Unlike profilers, Baxter hardly worked with non-verbal language, therefore, specifically to single out such people, he introduced the question of a "guilt complex" - he asked about a fictional crime. And if the respondent reacted to it as brightly and strongly as to the real one, then he admitted to be innocent, since this is simply his reaction to any questions of an accusatory bias.

In our case, there is no point in wasting time on such questions: we have clear criteria for how to calculate an asthenic person by speech, facial expressions and pantomime. Belonging to this psychotype, in fact, is already an admission of his innocence. So if you have determined that this person is anxious and suspicious, then most likely he did not commit a crime. This is unlikely: it's scary for them to live, let alone tell a lie. As a rule, an anxious and suspicious psychotype is carried out by us outside the circle of suspects.
