Some people have problems with DNS. I also had it on Windows 7. When connecting to a VPN, the dns remained the same, but the ip changed. I googled and read articles, but everywhere it is written that you need to specify google dns or register a stub 127.0.0.1 (after it was registered, the Internet was chopped off)
The solution turned out to be very simple.
Control Panel> Network and Internet> Network Connections Open the "properties" of the connection and Uncheck "Internet Protocol version 6 (TCP / IPv6)"
Ready. It changed to dns VPNa. Next, we check the dns for leaks (for example, here dnsleaktest.com/index.html)
Problem again ... our dns is not hermetically sealed. Again, go to Control Panel> Network and Internet> Network Connections Open the "properties"> "Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP / IPv4)" properties and already write the stub 127.0.0.1 Then we test again and here is the result. Hope it helps someone.
