Online crimes will no longer go unnoticed.

Google has announced a new collaboration with the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) and the DNS Research Federation (DNS RF) to combat online fraud. Codenamed Global Signal Exchange (GSE), the initiative aims to create a platform that combines data from a variety of sources to track cybercrime in real-time.

The project aims to centralize the transmission of abuse alerts, which will allow for faster detection and suppression of fraudulent activities across sectors and platforms. According to Google, the platform will be made available to qualified organizations, with access control being handled by GASA in conjunction with the DNS Research Federation.

The company has already transmitted more than 100 thousand URLs of fraudulent sites and over 1 million suspicious activity signals, which will be uploaded to the new system. In addition, Google plans to transfer data from other products to improve monitoring and combat cybercrime.

Google also noted that its Cross-Account Protection system has already protected 3.2 billion users on sites and apps that use Google Account sign-in. In the future, the company plans to cooperate with Canva, Electronic Arts, Indeed and LinkedIn.
