We can find stores and merchants with 2-D Secure technology in the following ways:
1. We analyze well-known and public stores with 2-D Secure (lists are on the forum)
We drive store links into free online services to identify similar (similar) sites and test them.
2. We go to the card payment page and see the mention of 3D at the top, we pass by such a store. There may be links without mentioning 3D, but in fact there will be 3D Secure (incomplete links are on the forum).
3. On the website of a store with 2D Secure, we look for a mention of the name of the merchant (payment gateway) that is connected and use a search query for this name (only 20-30% of stores have a mention of the merchant that is connected).
4. When choosing payment by card, we are redirected to the payment page through the 2D Secure gateway, we remember this link and enter it into the search query.
5. When paying in a 2-D Secure merchant, look at the html code in the browser (in the developer tools) and use the search by html code.
6. We use a search by the logo or picture of the 2-D Secure merchant in search engines, that is, we simply upload the picture and all sites will be found for us.
7. Go to the official website of the 2DS merchant and send an official letter asking for a list of stores and services that work with this merchant. We tell them that we want to connect this merchant to our store, but first we need to check how it works in other stores. If we are denied a list, then we request the merchant’s API (software) to connect to their store and use the API codes in search engines.
8. We take any used card with a vbv code and test the store or merchant; if the window about entering the password via SMS does not appear, then we can assume that this store or payment gateway is with 2-DS and it suits us.
9. We use various search parsers to search for stores and merchants according to specified criteria.
10. We compile a general list of merchants for each country. There will be a lot of them. We go to their official websites and study the technical information - what technology they use. If the information is not provided, we write a letter to everyone and ask.
