Most people in Germany believe that mobile payments are not secure enough.

According to a Bitkom study, only 29% of German users are willing to use their smartphones to pay for purchases. At the same time, 88% of Germans are concerned about the security of mobile payments.

85% of users believe that mobile payment service increases the likelihood of theft of the phone containing payment information. In addition, 72% believe that mobile payments are pushing people to make quick purchases.

The study also found that 75% of respondents have never used mobile payments, and 40% of Germans do not plan to use this service in the near future.

Recall that recently the US bank Wells Fargo is joining the trend of biometric identification in order to make mobile banking and security systems more efficient.
