According to Singapore court records, the Binance exchange account belonging to the main suspect in the money laundering case was reset while he was under arrest.

According to the Singapore Police Department of Commercial Affairs (CAD), an unidentified "interested party" stole 3.8 million Singapore dollars (about $2.8 million) from the account of Turkish citizen Vang Shuiming on the Binance exchange two days after his arrest.

"The information collected suggests that the transfer of assets was carried out by an interested person after the arrest of the accused. Police are also looking for Wang's fugitive brother and two other people involved in the scheme," the police said.

Wang was arrested in August on suspicion of laundering illegally obtained funds after a series of raids by Singapore police. As a result, law enforcement agencies confiscated crypto assets worth more than 2.4 billion Singapore dollars (about $1.7 billion).
