Thailand will become the PHDays cyber center for one day.

On May 25, with the support of the Hack In The Box information security conference, the Positive Hack Days 2 cyber festival will be held for the first time in Bangkok (Kingdom of Thailand). For one day, recognized security researchers from all over the world will gather on an offline platform in the Thai capital to discuss the most pressing cybersecurity issues and demonstrate the new threats that we may soon face. A live broadcast will be organized for all guests of PHDays in Luzhniki.

During its existence, PHDays hosted hundreds of top experts from around the world, including legendary cryptographer Bruce Schneier, one of the developers of the FaceDancer USB emulator Travis Goodspeed, co-author of the concept of public key cryptography Whitfield Diffie, and Embedded Security Lead at NVIDIA Alexander Matrosov. Ilfak Gilfanov, the author of the IDA Pro disassembler and Hex-Rays decompiler, Fernando Gaunt, an information security researcher at SI6 Networks, and Carsten Zero, a German security researcher, also presented reports here.

On May 25, as part of PHDays Everywhere, youth events will be held simultaneously in five Russian cities: a teleconference will bring together participants in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Tomsk.

In addition, the Standoff cyber battle between attacking and defensive teams will once again be launched on PHDays. Visitors will see the consequences of hacker attacks on the infrastructure of digital countries, up to unacceptable events in various sectors of the economy. The prize pool for which the red teams will compete will amount to 7.5 million rubles.

Positive Technologies has been hosting Positive Hack Days in Moscow since 2011. Last year, PHDays was held for the first time in the format of an open city festival in the capital's Gorky Park. In total, it was visited by 55 thousand people, and about 100 thousand more viewers followed the event online.

In the PHDays Media Telegram channel, you can find all the details about what awaits the guests of the cyber festival this year.
