Under the procedural guidance of the Podolsk District Prosecutor's Office of Kiev, the organizer and three of his accomplices were informed of suspicion of taking someone else's property by deception, committed repeatedly, under martial law by an organized group (Part 5 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation materials, four residents of the city of Yagotyn, Kyiv region - 18, 19, 20 and 24 years old-created a page on Instagram and posted ads for the sale of Apple equipment there. Customers were attracted by the prices of phones and laptops, which are significantly lower than those of other sellers. Buyers had to make a full or partial prepayment to the attackers ' card.

After receiving the money, the suspects first communicated with customers, explaining why they could not deliver the goods. As soon as the client requested a refund, they were blocked.

Now there are 11 buyers from all over Ukraine who transferred almost 200 thousand hryvnias for non-existent equipment. Other victims, which may be much larger, are still being identified.

During the searches, the suspects mobile phones, which they used for correspondence, SIM cards, bank cards, and "rough" records were seized. No Apple equipment that the suspects allegedly sold was found in their possession.
