Employees of the Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Hrodna region Internal Affairs Department detained a 35-year-old resident of Voronovo, who was engaged in the development of malicious computer programs.
According to the investigation, the man via the Internet received an order to create a virus that allows you to access the account data of various sites, bypassing their protection.
"Subsequently, the stolen information is used by malefactors for criminal purposes," the agency reports. For the work performed, the attacker received from the customer an amount equivalent to 347 rubles in bitcoins.
During the search, the suspect found files of several other projects of virus applications. It was previously established that orders were received mainly from the CIS countries and China.
