Pepsico presents a revolutionary solution for gamers and chip lovers alike.

Taking into account the demand, Pepsico-owned Doritos introduced an innovation in the world of gaming – the "Doritos Silent" technology. This is an innovative system that can detect the sounds of chips crunching and suppress them, leaving the gamer's voice untouched.
"Once your microphone is set up, you will be able to communicate as usual, but no one will hear your crunch," the technology's website says.
Fernando Kahane, Global Chief Marketing Officer at PepsiCo, said: "The connection between Doritos fans and the gaming community is undeniable. Both boldly and uncompromisingly embrace their unique tastes. 'Doritos Silent' highlights this connection and demonstrates the brand's continued commitment to innovate and improve the experience for gamers choosing Doritos."
Doritos collaborated with Smooth Technology to create the "Doritos Silent" artificial intelligence technology. Development took six months, during which engineers and experts carefully studied and analyzed more than 5,000 crunching sounds using machine learning.
"Partnering with Doritos to create this cutting-edge technology has been an incredible journey," said Dylan Fashbo, lead developer at Smooth Technology. "We all know that gamers love Doritos, but this inimitable crunch often gets in the way during tense gaming moments. With 'Doritos Silent', we tried to ensure that you can enjoy Doritos without disturbing other players, which makes the gameplay more comfortable."
At the moment, the program is only available for Windows PCs, and you can download it for free on the site .
The program requires a computer running Windows 10 or Windows 11, a processor of at least the 7th generation, at least 4 gigabytes of RAM and 200 megabytes of free disk space.
