The Ministry of Defense also filed a claim to recover the entire contract amount - 367 million rubles. The claim was rejected, and now this case will be heard separately in a civil court.

As a representative of 3Logic Group reported in response to a CNews request, Maxim Balabanov holds the position of Director of the Project Business Development Department of 3Logic Group. He has been working for the company since 2019, and the past trial is not related to 3Logic Group or Maxim Balabanov's work activity at the company.

Supplies of office equipment of the "wrong system"

The investigation in the case initiated in August 2018 was conducted in relation to the contract of the Ministry of Defense with Antey LLC, concluded in 2016, on the fact of theft of budget funds during the supply of a batch of laptops and USB drives to Antey LLC under a state contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Antey is a subsidiary of Depo Electronics, which operates on the market under the Depo Computers brand. In this case, Depo Computers acted as the supplier to Antey LLC. According to the investigation, during the execution of the contract, the cost was overstated, as well as the conditions for the country of manufacture of one of the equipment items were not met.

One of the first to be arrested in this criminal case was Alexey Irisov, at that time the CEO of Depo Electronics. In 2018, he was taken into custody and, after two months of detention, transferred to house arrest. In July 2022, it became known about the arrest in absentia of Sergey Eskin, the key owner of Depo Electronics, who was put on the international wanted list. However, on September 19, 2022, the decision on his arrest in absentia was canceled.
