Cyber police Chernivtsi exposed intruders who developed an illegal "scheme" for crossing the state border by men of military age. Law enforcement officers announced suspicion to the defendants.
The offenders were exposed by employees of the Department of Countering Cybercrime in the Chernivtsi region together with investigators of the department number 3 (Glubokaya village) of the regional police department of the regional center and employees of 31 border guards under the procedural guidance of the Hlybok department of the Chernivtsi District Prosecutor's Office.
A 30-year-old resident of the Chernivtsi region organized the illegal activity, which involved two more accomplices. Malefactors have developed a "scheme" for illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine by men of military age.
The defendants distributed ads for assistance in crossing the border in popular social networks and instant messengers. The offenders drew up a detailed route to the border line and its intersection. This route was marked with markers on online maps. In the future, they sent "clients" geodata with certain places of origin and direction of movement.
The main condition was a subscription of about 2 thousand euros per person. The remaining funds of the men had to transfer to outsiders already abroad.
It is established that according to the same scheme, the organizers unsuccessfully tried to transport three men of military age to Romania - the evaders were discovered by border guards near the state border in the administrative borders of the village of Bagrinovka, Chernivtsi region.
Cyber police conducted searches at the places of residence of intruders. Evidence of criminal activity of offenders, in particular mobile phones and "rough" records, was seized.
Investigators informed the participants of the criminal group about suspicion under Part 3 of Article 332 (Illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. They face up to nine years in prison.
