credit card dump print ?

what about the credit card dump print when someone take the print when you go to an hotel or rental car store when you arrive ?
Is that inform the card owner or the bank ? Or not ?
in fact can you go in an hotel, give the print card, of course with a matching id and pay 7 or 15 days after ? If it is only a print, and of course you don't use this dump during you 1 or 2 weeks is the dump going to die ?
