Cream Finance's decentralized finance protocol has once again suffered from a vulnerability in the flash credit mechanics. Fraudsters withdrew assets worth about $ 130 million

Blockchain security firm PeckShield has identified a major loan transaction at DeFi Cream Finance. The recorded exploit in CREAM v1 gave grounds to assert that Cream Finance was hacked for the third time in the amount of about $ 130 million. Cream LP tokens and other ERC-20 tokens were stolen.

The project team confirmed the fact of the hack and announced that it was investigating.

This year, Cream Finance has been hacked for the third time. In February 2021, cybercriminals stole $ 37.5 million using a flash credit vulnerability. In August, the protocol was hacked again. This time, they withdrawn about $ 25 million.
