Proletarsky District Court sentenced a resident of Tula, who was charged under three articles of the Criminal Code-violation of privacy, illegal access to computer information and the use of malicious computer programs.

According to the case file, the man downloaded malicious software and installed it on his laptop. Then he selected usernames and passwords for users equipment, attacking more than two dozen IP addresses. So Tula got access to the webcam of the girl's laptop.

"[The accused] recorded the monitor screen of his laptop, which was broadcasting an image from the webcam of the victim's laptop, located in the latter's home, which is in a semi-naked form," the case file says.

Tulyak fully admitted his guilt. The criminal case was considered in a special order. In this case, when passing a sentence, a penalty is imposed that cannot exceed two-thirds of the maximum term or the amount of the most severe type of punishment provided for for the committed crime.

For all the crimes committed, the accused received fines. By partial addition of punishments, he was finally sentenced to a fine of 80,000 rubles. The verdict has now entered into legal force.
