Short and to the point.
If your phone falls into the wrong hands, entering the wrong password will wipe the phone.

1.
Ripple
Ripple is a "panic button" that can send its trigger message to any app that is a "panic responder". Such apps can do things like block, mask, delete personal data, send an emergency message, and more. It is designed for situations where there is time to react, but where users need to be sure that it is not mistakenly installed. https://github.com/guardianproject/ripple

2. Duress
Is configured, when entering the specified unlock PIN, either wipes the android or sends a message to another program Wasted Wasted , which also wipes the device.
You configure it, specify a fake PIN on the Wipe tab, press Activate at the bottom. Reboot the body. And you're done ... as an experiment, you can enter a fake PIN and see what happens.
Root rights are not required, it seems.

3. Wasted
