Circle of perfection

The Circle of Perfection is a spatial anchoring technique that allows access to resources. It can be used to increase the confidence you need in negotiation, public speaking, or giving a presentation.
1. Choose a situation that repeats with you, and in which you would like to feel differently than usual, more resourceful. Determine exactly how you would like to feel, what resources you need.
2. Relive the desired resource in yourself. Mentally go back to the time when you felt that you had this resource (confidence, calmness, relaxation, belief in success, energy). Relive these minutes, see what you saw then, hear what you heard.
3. The circle of perfection. When you feel the maximum intensity of this resource in yourself, imagine a circle on the floor at your feet. What colour is he? Maybe you would like him to make some kind of sound, for example, a faint ringing, indicating his strength, or a melody you know? When you feel that this is exactly the state that you would like to have, leave the circle, leaving the resource state inside the circle.
4. Trigger. Now think about what happened a moment before the onset of the non-resource state, what was the trigger, the trigger? See and hear what will happen a moment before. Opening the door to your boss's office, a phone call in your office, or a voice announcing your presentation can be a signal to start.
5. Connection. When the trigger is defined, scroll through your head, like a film strip, what precedes the trigger, and at the moment of triggering, step into the circle and feel the resource in you.
6. Check the results. Now leave the circle again, leaving this feeling in it. Once outside the circle, think again about the impending event. How are you feeling?
With a circle of excellence, you can boldly and confidently go to negotiations, interviews, public speaking, and presentations. Now you are confident in your own abilities, remain calm and believe in success!
